Charlie’s Nightclub kicks off its weekend dance parties Friday. The entire weekend has an Island Oasis theme so, yes, flip-flops are allowed. Charlie’s is located at 900 E. Colfax Avenue.

Pride & Swagger, another of Denver’s new gay bars, located at 450 E. 17th Avenue, is hosting Electra Dupri’s weekly FemmeBots drag show, which starts at 10 p.m. There’s no cover. There are $3 drafts, $4 wells, $4.50 Smirnoff and $6.50 Ketel One.

Trying to avoid booze this Pride? No worries. Peer Coach Academy Colorado is hosting a free Sober Rave with DJ Rooze at The Phoenix at 2233 Champa St. starting at 7 p.m.

The annual Coors Light PrideFest Parade leaves Cheesman Park at 9 a.m. and is expected to end around 11 a.m. The parade exits the park at 13th Avenue and Franklin Street, heading down Franklin to Colfax Avenue. It then heads down Colfax Avenue to Lincoln Avenue at Civic Center Park.

X Bar at 629 E. Colfax Avenue is opening at 7 a.m. Sunday and offering people a chance to check out the parade as it passes by. Afterward, the bar hosts its regular Beer Bust on the patio.

Hamburger Mary’s at 1336 E. 17th Ave is hosting Mary’s Last Call For Pride at 10 p.m. The event is hosted by Khloe Katz and includes performances by Menaje E’toi, Anka Shayne and Willow Pill. Make reservations at 303-993-5812.

On Jan. 4, 2017, Martinez met Miller at a convenience store in the 1100 block of South Sheridan Boulevard. Arellano hid in the darkness until Miller arrived  and then stabbed him in the chest. Miller died from his injuries.

How to navigate downtown Denver this weekend with PrideFest, Comic Con and more

The Juneteenth Parade will take place on 26th Street, starting at the Manual High School Parking lot (26th and Gilpin) and ending at the intersection of 26th and Welton Street. Staging begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and the parade officially kicks off at 11 a.m.

The PrideFest parade begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at Cheesman Park, exiting at 13th Avenue and Franklin. The route will continue on Franklin to Colfax, then travel down Colfax to Lincoln Avenue at Civic Center Park.
