Denver police investigate shooting, crash

A police spokesperson says one person was shot in the 3500 block of W Colfax Ave at around 7 p.m. Saturday and taken to a hospital. He did not know whether the victim's injuries were life-threatening.

Soon after that, a vehicle crashed into a building in the 3600 block of W Colfax.

Bystander shoots robbery suspect in Aurora

Police responded to a report of a shooting at the Village East Grocery Store at 1161 S. Peoria Street just after 2 p.m. and found a woman on scene suffering from a gunshot wound lying in the parking lot.

Officers said the Key Bank on Colorado Blvd. and Iliff Ave. was robbed late Friday afternoon.

Shots fired at Aurora mall after a fight breaks out

Aurora Police are also investigating another shooting nearby at E. Mississippi and Peoria Street. One woman was reportedly taken to a local hospital in that incident.

Juvenile detained for arson after small Greeley grass fire

Greeley Fire arrived at 2:45 p.m. to the 5500 block of 29th Street and had the fire under control in about five minutes, fire crews say. The fire began in a greenbelt area.
