PLEASE TAKE THIS SURVEY! The city wants to find out where you stand on policies like: *Parking maximums *“Transportation demand management,” i.e. incentives to walk, bike, or ride transit instead of driving *Street design standards that prioritize walking and biking *Eliminating curb cuts that disrupt busy sidewalks *Allowing duplexes, accessory dwelling units, multi-family homes, and other forms of housing in more neighborhoods *Mixed-use development that clusters homes, businesses, shopping, and entertainment close together https://app.maptionnaire.com/en/3839/

Join a group of very nice, fun and dedicated neighbors at the Sunnyside Neighborhood Meeting (3rd Monday of the Month) Monday, March 19th at Diebolt Brewing Company. We are a group of volunteers who work to improve our neighborhood - whether that be to build neighbor-to-neighbor connectedness, sharing information and resources, working with developers to make sure new projects fit into the neighborhood, negotiating Good Neighbor Agreements, or supporting local businesses, we would LOVE for you to join us! Looking for new board members to be elected at the April Annual Meeting and Pizza Party.

Thank you for taking our survey on how to make our Annual Meeting and Pizza Party even BETTER this year! If you haven't taken it yet, we will keep it up for the next couple of weeks to gather your feedback! A couple of comments showed interest in getting more long-time residents engaged. We would love to meet some more neighbors who have lived in Sunnyside for the past 30+ years. Unfortunately, many of them are not on Facebook or Nextdoor. Could YOU reach out to your older neighbors and personally invite them (better yet, offer to drive them) to our Annual Meeting and Pizza Party April 26th? We will have an image up soon with details that you could print off and stick in their mailbox, too ;-)

Will you take this short, 5-minute survey to help us think about what information/speaker/resources we could bring to our Annual Meeting and Pizza Party April 26th that would be valuable to you as a Sunnyside neighbor? (You can also leave suggestions in the comments below)

MEET A SUNI BOARD MEMBER Kari Goddard heads up sponsorships and donations Occupation: Realtor-Broker Associate How long have you lived in Sunnyside? 3 years What do you love most about Sunnyside? I love the proximity to downtown, future commuter rail, and the local businesses. Why did you want to become a SUNI board member? I was the Vice President of my previous neighborhood board and wanted to be a part of helping shape our neighborhood's future too. I like to learn about the various developments and businesses that will enhance our community. What do you enjoy most about being a SUNI board member? I enjoy meeting both new and long time residents at the various events we have. I also enjoy meeting our business owners and seeing their establishments. What is your favorite SUNI event and why? That is a tough one! I'd say the SUNI Sippers are my favorite. Every month, I can visit a local business, learn about their services, and maybe try some new menu items. I also get to meet my fellow neighbors and learn what they love about Sunnyside! How long have you been a board member? I hope to start year 3 soon! Would you like to know more about becoming a SUNI member? www.SunnysideDenver.org Also - paid members (individual - $20/year; household - $35/year) get FREE pizza at our upcoming Annual Meeting as well as a discount card you can use at local businesses!
