Maintenance Work Planned for 15th Street Bridge Over the South Platte River DENVER – Denver Public Works is working hard this summer to keep its bridge infrastructure maintained, with work scheduled to begin this weekend on the 15th Street Bridge over the South Platte River. A full closure of 15th Street will be required on Saturday, April 28, for the work and traffic will be detoured to Little Raven Street, 19th Street, and Platte Street. On Sunday, and continuing for about a month, crews will maintain a lane of traffic in each direction while the bridge work is underway. Ensuring the city’s infrastructure remains in a state of good repair is one of many tactics identified in Mayor Hancock’s Mobility Action Plan. The cost of this bridge rehabilitation project is approximately $300k. https://www.denvergov.org/content/dam/de nvergov/Portals/728/documents/Denver' ;s%20Mobility%20Action%20Plan_7.7.pdf
