2018 Earth Month – Thank You Congress Park Neighbors

April 2018 was a special month. On four Saturdays in a row, the Green Team hosted events in support of Planet Earth. Events focused on actions to take right now to reduce your carbon footprint. Events also introduced participants to Congress Park neighbors already taking action and willing to share their experience. All events were free and open to the public!

Wine Bar Postino Plans a Second Denver Location

In addition to Postino, a Hopdoddy Burger Bar and Zoe’s Kitchen are coming to the corner of 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Though individual business’ opening dates will vary, the whole project is slated to finish by late 2020.

On Thursday, April 19th, Mary Beth Susman will host a town hall in the district. I will give a brief update on happenings in the district and will have guests from Community Planning and Development to talk about the East Area Plan and Blueprint Denver. Frank Cannon from Continuum Partners will also be on hand to give us an update on the 9th and Colorado project. The town hall will be held on April 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the 9th and Colorado project site. Plan to park on the lower levels of the parking garage located at 11th Ave and Colorado Blvd. Enter the garage from 11th Ave. Once inside the parking garage you may use the elevators at the southwest corner to come down to the ground level and walk across the north plaza to the entrance of the 9th and Colorado Development Office. There will be signs posted to guide the way. Light refreshments will be served. I hope to see you there!
