HERE ARE 8 NEW PUBLIC ART PROJECTS COMING TO DENVER THIS YEAR! With the hopes of increasing public safety, rejuvenating public spaces, inspiring innovating thinking and fostering community interaction, the eight projects cover a big footprint across Denver. From South Yuma to Commons Park and east along Colfax Avenue, these projects will be highly visible and sometimes interactive, to encourage even more engagement with the public. Walk Denver: on various sites along Colfax Avenue, Walk Denver will work together with community members who have been impacted by traffic deaths, advocacy groups and artists to instigate dialogue about the safety of pedestrians in Denver. Well-known Denver street artist Pat Milbery will paint a large-scale mural to envision the goals of Vision Zero and will work with East High School students to create stencils and street signs for areas that community members feel need improvement. https://303magazine.com/2018/01/new-public-art-denver-2018/

It has a 900 cubic inch, 6 cylinder, 1928 Hall-Scott motor sitting on top of a 1927 Diamond T hearse frame, with original Lockheed low pressure/high volume hydraulic brakes - external contracting type. Thank you Michelle! We love our East Colfax Neighborhood too 😍
I love my neighborhood. So, many great places. Sometimes trying to decide which place I'm in the mood for is hard. Etete or Quintessential? The food truck at Fiction Brewery or go across the street to Your Deli? Their BLT's are fabulous. I truly hope everyone is aware of all the amazing places within walking distance even, wherever you are. There is probably a great place around the corner from you, here on East Colfax.
Thank you to the 18 residents and businesses that have renewed their neighborhood association dues so far.
