    Why doesn't the Winter Olympics exploratory committee comply with the Sunshine Law? - Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition
    The city says the Denver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Exploratory Committee, formed by Mayor Michael Hancock, is not bound by the Colorado Open Meetings Law and, therefore, it can meet however it sees fit. But there is a solid legal argument that the state's open meetings law indeed does apply to the Winter Olympics exploratory committee.

    A Denver-based developer wants to build a mixed-use project topping out at 16 stories at the southeast corner of Sloan's Lake Park, but two neighborhood groups aren't on board with the plans. Zocalo Community Development plans to construct more than 300 residential units, about half of which would be designated as affordable housing, on the parking lot along Newton Street between 16th and 17th avenues.

Rezone Proposal – 1602 to 1680 N. Sheridan Blvd.

Bruce O'Donnell of Starboard Realty will be a guest at the April 2018 WeCAN General Membership Meeting to present a rezoning application proposed by the neighbors on 1602 - 1680 N. Sheridan Blvd.  The five property owners that own the property along the east side of Sheridan from 16th Ave to 17th Ave are proposing to rezone their property to G-MS-5.  This effort will include working with the City to dedicate an additional 16' of Right of Way for Sheridan Blvd. so that an 8' Treelawn and an 8' detached sidewalk can be achieved.
