Denver Public Works repurposes a car lane for people on bikes. Grant and Logan streets will go two-way later this spring. Denver Public Works wrapped up a set of safety improvements on 19th and 20th avenues today, converting them from speedy one-way roads to people-friendly two-way streets.

Today marks the day of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake that shook the west coast and affected many California based artists. One of which, was Grace Carpenter Hudson, who’s artworks were destroyed in the fires that started in the aftermath of the earthquake. A sad day for the artist, but Hudson continued to produce a mass amount of paintings throughout her life, producing 684 numbered portraits.
