Pair O' Dimes Keeps Fashion Fun in Five Points
Five Points is developing fast, but a new store puts some creative funk back into one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods. Pair O' Dimes Festival Fashion Boutique Opens Just in Time For Summer
Intention - of the many words spoken by Pair O' Dimes' Jesse "Jucifer" Taenzer "intention," popped up most. The intention he was talking about definitely had a spiritual dimension - the notion that if you approach things with a certain energy, results will inevitably blossom, or at least wind up more favorably.

You hear a lot about this Denver neighborhood's past, but its present and future are the real story

Five Points is named for the intersection of Welton Street, 27th Street, Washington Street and East 26th Avenue – and what was historically known as a sanctuary for the African American community has become increasingly gentrified at a pace even faster than Denver’s overall boom.

You hear a lot about this Denver neighborhood's past, but its present and future are the real story
Cranes building future developments loom above murals of past glory in a Denver neighborhood that's changing almost beyond recognition. Five Points is named for the intersection of Welton Street, 27th Street, Washington Street and East 26th Avenue - and what was historically known as a sanctuary for the African American community has become increasingly gentrified at a pace even faster than Denver's overall boom.

The Newest Addition to the Breck Family: Hop Peak IPA

We're on a new high welcoming the latest addition to the Breckenridge Brewery mainline selection: Hop Peak IPA. Available year-round, we're thrilled to offer this bold, aromatic ale to those who crave hops, aka "the spice of beer."

The Newest Addition to the Breck Family: Hop Peak IPA
Dry hopping is when hops are added to the fermentation vessel, towards the end of the entire beer-making process. Again, this allows the hop flavor - and, more poignantly, aromas - to stay strong throughout the beer's journey and to remain prominent once reaching the final destination: your glass.

Breck Gives Back (to the Earth)

If the folks of Breckenridge Brewery are two things, we're beer people and we're Colorado people. As such, we have some plans for this upcoming Earth Day weekend. Every time we step into our backyard we're reminded of Earth's gifts. It's only right that we give back. Here's what we have going on to celebrate:

Breck Gives Back (to the Earth)
Inspired by the pollinator planting projects that we love to host every year, we created a specialty beer made with orange blossom honey from Colorado's oldest honey retailer, Beeyond the Hive. PolliNation Rustic Farmhouse Ale was aged on rose hips, the accessory fruit of the rose plant, and then aged again on cherry wood, which is considered more sustainable than oak.
