Fatal crashes may have one cause or multiple contributing factors. The number of drivers in Colorado involved in deadly accidents while using alcohol or drugs has steadily increased in recent years. Even so, careless/inattentive driving is the leading contributing factor among drivers in fatal crashes.
Recognizing the growing problem of distracted driving, federal transportation researchers in 2012 started categorizing Careless/Inattentive Driving as a separate contributing factor. For more information and patterns over the last seven years check out the interactive map here: knowledgeinitiative.org/interactive-crash-map

Meet your City Council Representative!
Denver's 2017 IMAGINE 2020 survey revealed that Denver residents are hungry for more arts, culture and creativity in their daily lives. Regrettably too many residents still face barriers that prevent them from participating as much as they would like. In a fast-growing city like ours, it is increasingly difficult to learn about all the different offerings across the city and satisfy higher expectations for access, inclusion, and relevance. How can your organization address these findings, and more importantly, how can you prepare for the future? Join Corona Insights and leaders across arts, culture and creative organizations to take a deeper dive into the survey findings and embrace a collective call to action.

We need more trees! Trees help cool us down, and absorb air pollution. They increase property value and enhance our environment. Denver Digs Trees offers free and low-cost trees - apply today!

Our kiddo is sick in bed, so we sadly will have to miss the tour tomorrow morning at Trevista at Horace Mann. That means there are now 3 slots available if you're interested! (remember, they're launching a new 90/10 Spanish dual language program next year, very exciting)
