With these funds, we have been able to engage in interviews of longtime residents, research in archives, and an architectural inventory of selected residences. We have presented an abbreviated form of our findings in a walking tour and at a neighborhood happy hour, and we offer a longer presentation here in this pdf: A Story of Two Eras_ Lincoln Park Community Presentation

Drop by Space Gallery tomorrow evening for the opening reception of INFORMED - Print as an Influence! The exhibit looks at eight artists who use printmaking as a conduit to their work in other mediums: painting, sculpture, and installation. Is printmaking the informer in this process of transitioning between two mediums or is it being informed by the other disciplines that these artists use in their work? Each artist will present their print work alongside work they do in other mediums so you can decide.
