The developer of a new 16 story high rise on Sloan's Lake Park will be there to talk about his plan and how taxpayers will be asked to help pay for it. Please join SLNA, come and enjoy the company and a great holiday reception after!

Hi Sloan's Lake! I wanted to drop a note and make sure you are all familiar with the Denver Citizen Oversight Board (COB). The COB practices civilian oversight—an ever-evolving field designed to provide communities with a voice in how law enforcement is conducted. We were voted into the City Charter last year, no doubt with much of your help. Under the Charter, the COB is authorized to make policy recommendations to the Denver Police Department and Denver Sheriff Department. We just launched a Facebook page, because we're hoping to hear more from the community. We hope you'll follow it and share your thoughts on policing, incarceration, and oversight in Denver. We welcome your voices at our bi-weekly board meetings and our quarterly public forums.
